Common Questions
No, never. StockEasy makes no network requests at all — every feature works with the device in aeroplane mode. There is also no sync between devices; use a backup file to move your records to a new phone.
On your device only. StockEasy does not sync through iCloud or any other service and makes no network requests, so we have no way to see or collect it. Because the device holds the only copy, take a free backup from Settings and keep the file somewhere else.
Yes. StockEasy is a Universal app that runs natively on iPhone and iPad, with an optimised split-screen POS mode on iPad.
Free supports up to 50 products with the core features, and a full backup — covering everything, so switching phones keeps your transactions — is free for everyone. Pro unlocks unlimited products, staff roles for up to 15 people on the device, the on-device assistant, voice commands, multi-warehouse, advanced reports, and CSV/Excel export. Pro is USD $4.99/month, $29.99/year, or $149.99 lifetime. Prices are set in US dollars, so your App Store charges the equivalent in your own currency — about A$7.99, A$49.99 and A$229.99 in Australia.
Open Settings → Upgrade to Pro → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. On your device, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, select StockEasy, and tap Cancel.
Yes. StockEasy supports CSV import. Go to More → CSV Import and follow the template format provided in the app.
It does not send anything anywhere. Questions like "How are today’s sales?" are matched by keyword to one of a fixed set of reports, which is then read from your own records on the device. There is no language model, no inference, and no network call — the app makes no network requests at all. Nothing you type into it leaves the phone, including customer names and phone numbers.
Pro subscription required. Settings → Team Management → Add Member, up to 15 people with Owner, Manager or Staff roles. This controls who can see and do what on the device the app is installed on, with an owner passcode guarding the switch between roles. It is not multi-device collaboration: StockEasy does not sync, so staff using their own phones do not see your shop’s data.
StockEasy supports EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, QR Code, and Data Matrix — covering virtually all retail products worldwide.
