This policy covers the website at willneeds.com.au, operated by Willneeds Pty Ltd of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It does not cover our iOS apps — each of those keeps your data on your own device and has its own policy: Vault Finance, StockEasy, AI Transcribe, and Tradie Mate.
What We Collect
There are no accounts on this website and nothing to sign up for. We collect information in exactly three situations.
1. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they arrive. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Google information including your approximate location (derived from IP address, which Google truncates), device and browser type, referring site, and the pages you view. We see this only in aggregate — we cannot identify individual visitors from it, and we do not attempt to.
Browser-level tracking protection, an ad blocker, or Google’s own opt-out add-on will all stop this collection. Nothing on the site stops working if you block it.
2. The Contact Form
If you send us a message, the name, email address, and message you type are submitted through Web3Forms, a third-party form service that relays it to our inbox. We use what you send to reply to you and to discuss the work you are asking about. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
If you would rather not use a third-party relay, email us directly at sales@willneeds.com.au instead.
3. Hosting Logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and operational purposes. This happens for any website you visit and is not something we configure or read routinely.
Who We Share It With
Only the three providers named above — Google, Web3Forms, and Vercel — each processing data to provide the function described. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Some of these providers process data outside Australia.
How Long We Keep It
Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Emails you send us are kept in our inbox for as long as the enquiry is commercially relevant, and we delete them on request.
Your Choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@willneeds.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also block analytics in your browser at any time, as described above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
